As an Architect, Mr. McConnaughey has an extensive background in site planning, building design and construction; which make him ideal for the lead role on our design team. Eric brings a strong ability to listen and creatively utilize input from all individuals involved in a project, from design through construction. Eric is a talented architect/ designer, as well as a technical architect.

His project experience includes Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics; Hospital and Medical Offices, Professional Office Buildings, Multi-Family Residential, Senior Housing, Mixed Use and Downtown Redevelopment Projects, Hotels, Governmental and Municipal Facilities, Libraries, Community Centers, Schools, Retail Malls & Outlet Shopping Centers, Restaurants and Custom Residences from the San Joaquin Valley, to the central coast, and in the Truckee/ Reno area.

The past twenty-six years exposure and experience from all sides of projects provides Eric with the unique ability to be a Facilitator and enhance a Team effort to establish the projects programming needs/objectives; and to ensure a timely, cost effective project delivery that will meet your Project desires and wishes.

Mr. McConnaughey attended Texas A&M University and Graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design. He then furthered his education at Arizona State University, one of the top architecture design schools in the nation, where he received a Master of Architecture degree.

Mr. McConnaughey established EBM Design Group Incorporated in November 1989. EBM Design Group is a full service architectural firm experienced in all phases of architectural design, landscape architecture and planning. We specialize in energy conscious design, computer imaging, and building information modeling (BIM).
